Lots of changes...

The month of December brought a lot of changes in my life. Not only am I still growing baby Jett, but I'm no longer working. I was laid off at the beginning of the month. It was quite a blow, I never saw it coming, and the way my employers did it was very dissappointing, I lost a lot of respect for them. So, I was eight months pregnant, laid off, with my insurance to run out 2 weeks before my due date...

But it turns out it was a blessing in disguise. I got over the blow to my pride, we got set up on Davids insurance, and I've been collecting unemployment. Bella has really enjoyed me staying home with her, and being able to take it easy in this third trimester has been wonderful!

Also, we found out that my husbands grandma died unexpectedly, with the funeral a week before Christmas. So, we traveled to New Mexico for the funeral, and were able to stay with my in laws for the holiday. Traveling this far into the pregnancy was a little scary, but after talking with our doctor, and taking precautions, we decided to go ahead and take a chance. It was a great Christmas, spending it in NM with my awesome family. The weather and the baby cooperated, and now we're safely back in Vegas, anxiously awaiting our new arrival.

We were able to complete getting all the baby stuff we need, and now I feel as ready as possible for Jett to get here. Check out my ticker, he could come any time now!

3D Ultrasound!

We went and did the 3D ultrasound and got some really cute pictures of our little Jett!

Telly Graduated!

I was able to attend Telly's graduation from his training. I'm so proud of my big brother!

Here's pictures of my big pregnant belly! I'm beginning to feel humongus. Only 2 months left! Sorry, I don't look all that happy in this one, but you can see my belly button poking out...

My husband is Awesome!

I know that there are waaay too many of these "my spouse is so wonderful" posts, but I really do feel the need to brag about my guy. He's kind of a guys-guy, which means I really have to keep my eyes open for his more "sensitive" moments. LOL!

He really has been so considerate of me lately, maybe this pregnancy thing isn't so bad. He rubs my back when it hurts, and has been so sweet to me. He is so excited to be a dad, and we've been talking about what kind of parents we want to be to our kid. I feel really blessed to have a husband who I know is going to be a great dad to our kids, and so on the same page as me with our parenting styles.

I know we're not perfect, but I love him just the way he is. I'd marry him again in a second. I know we have a huge adventure ahead of us, but there's no one else I'd rather do this with. I can't believe its November already, and our little guy will be here in January! Where has the time gone?? (Time out to breathe into a paper bag)
